My name is Antony Andre'
My site is an attempt to bring others into my world of artistic expression and exploration. The includes pages will further your knowledge of my multi-media creativity. I have found that artistic exploration in many areas allows a broader sense of security in todays world.
Everything shown is for sale at a reasonable price. I believe making art affordable so that people from any walk of life can purchase and take it home with them to enjoy.
My ideas and creative direction comes from our everyday enviroment that would include plants, animals, things man made, and even spiritually motivated.
I have been able to explore many aspects of the artworld by being a mulit-media artist. My greatest experience was being able to visit the museums of art while I was a soldier stationed in Southern Germany.
My days of drawing / sketching from childhood thru high school led to my attending the Memphis Academey of Arts
[now called the Memphis College of Arts] from fall 1978 to the summer of 1981 [ when I joined the army and was assigned as battallion artist for 3/69 armour unit]. While at the Acadamey I studied all aspects of fine art. I found the printmaking and classical drawing studios to my liking, as well as sculpture, pottery, weaving/fabrics, and metalsmithing.
The studios and their respective instructors formed a nuclues of learning that has helped me to develop into an artist with a greater appreciation and understanding of a God given talent.
I believe in all that is good and reject all that is evil.
